So valentines day is right around the corner. And we live in a society were promiscuity and all types of sexual sins are not only normalized, but encouraged. But as God fearing members of the divine royalty, we KNOW that we cannot partake in such sinful frivolities.
Before I fell victim of the devil’s lies, I believed, for a very long time, that being abstinent until marriage, and giving my virginity to the man I would marry, my king, my happily ever after partner, was the most beautiful thing in the world. At least one of; chocolate being on the list. Unfortunately, my low self-esteem and the environment in which I lived, and the fact that I was exposed to sexuality, against my will, at a very young age, led me to give the cookie up very early.
I had it on my heart for a VERY long time to speak on the subject: why it is important to be abstinent, what are the risks/results of casual/premarital sex, soul ties etc., but because I still found myself in that sin, guilt would not let me do so. I repented, I believe I am forgiven, and the time has come to tell my sisters what I would’ve loved to hear when I was younger. I am convinced it might have changed some things for me… I hope it will for you.
With Valentine’s day at the door, what better time to start the series than now? This first post is simply to introduce the series. Be on the look out: SUNDAY’S POST WILL CONTAIN THE JUICY STUFF! 😉
In the meantime, let me leave you you with one advice. Some of my princesses are in relationships and are being pressured to give up the “good-good”. Your beau might be promising you marriage, mansion, diamonds and what not. But princess, if he loves you, HE WILL WAIT. No matter how good looking he is, no matter how tempting it may be. Please, resist. Why give up a life time blessing for a couple minutes pleasure?
If he cannot wait, he is not “IT”. Do not give into his sweet talk; it is the equivalent of rotten milk. Would you dip a yummy cookie in rotten milk?? I sure hope not!
So, Princess, no matter how good he claims his milk is, do not give that cookie up. Fresh cookie and expired milk do not go together. God is pouring you a tall glass of fresh milk (soy, almond, coconut, chocolate, whatever you like). Just be patient. #Abstinence
Tune in Sunday for the second post of the series 🙂
